Finlay Wealth Management Recognized as Top Small Business Worldwide

East Belfast’s Finlay Wealth Management has achieved a notable accolade, being named the number one small business by St James’s Place Services out of 600 SMEs globally. This recognition highlights its success in outperforming financial firms in renowned centers such as Singapore, Dubai, and Hong Kong.

To support its growth, Finlay Wealth Management plans to invest £1.4 million in various areas including acquisitions, hiring new staff, and enhancing training. The firm is also set to ramp up its marketing efforts, which will include awareness programs and an expanded social media strategy.

As part of its expansion plans, Finlay will open a second office on Lisburn Road to provide better access to its high-quality financial services for an increasing number of clients. There are already discussions in progress for establishing an office in Glasgow.

Under the leadership of Jonathan Finlay, the firm has seen substantial expansion in recent years, doubling its workforce and significantly increasing its client base. It now manages over £145 million in client investments, both corporate and individual, with expected business revenue set to grow by 150% to nearly £2 million by the close of this financial year.

The firm’s clients have increased from 866 to 1,175 over the past year, thanks to a mix of acquisitions and organic growth. Recently, five new financial advisers and three administrative staff have joined the team.

Jonathan Finlay, who has three decades of experience in financial planning, commented, “Our growth reflects our dedication to putting clients first, investing in our team, and adapting to the changing financial landscape. We look forward to supporting even more individuals and businesses in securing their financial futures with our expansion.”

Finlay also noted, “Being recognized as the top small business within St James’s Place Services globally is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire team.”

Among notable clients is Mark Regan, CEO of Kingsbridge Private Hospital Belfast, who praised Finlay Wealth Management for its invaluable guidance in financial planning. He stated, “Their professional and straightforward advice has led to outstanding results.”
