On April 2, Parliament will hold a session, during which representatives will focus on important discussions. After the session, they will engage in regular meetings, ensuring their viewpoints are communicated both in Parliament and to the public. The goal is to create a developed India, or “Viksit Bharat,” and to work collectively towards improving the lives of every citizen in the coming years.

Regarding trade, negotiations for a bilateral trade agreement are currently underway. This effort has been widely known since the joint announcement made by President Trump and Prime Minister Modi, which marked the beginning of these negotiations. The aim is to finalize an agreement by fall 2025 that benefits both countries. Talks are progressing positively, which is encouraging news for both the United States and India.

Piyush Goyal shared at the Times Now summit that he maintains ongoing communication with various industries, including agriculture, engineering, electronics, and textiles. This dialogue is crucial, as many organizations are keenly interested in the potential benefits of a bilateral trade agreement with the United States.
