Former Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma has recently addressed the rumors surrounding her supposed romance with cricketer Mohammed Siraj. Speaking in an interview with Filmy Gyan, the actress, known for her role in Naagin 3, set the record straight just days after the speculation began.
Mahira firmly denied the dating rumors, stating, “Kisi ka kuch nahi hai. I’m not dating anyone,” which translates to “There is nothing going on with anyone. I’m not dating anyone.”
When questioned about how she handles such rumors, Mahira explained, “Fans can connect you with anyone. We can’t stop them. When I work, I am linked to my co-stars too. They make edits and all. But I don’t give much importance to all this. If you like this, go ahead, but there is nothing like this.”
The speculation about Mahira and Mohammed Siraj’s relationship started last month when reports suggested they were seeing each other but keeping it discreet. This gossip gained traction after Siraj liked one of Mahira’s posts on Instagram, and they both began following each other on social media.
Before Mahira could share her side, her mother, Sania Sharma, also denied the rumors in an interview with Times Now. She reacted by saying, “What are you saying? People say anything. Now that my daughter is a celebrity, people will link her name with anyone, so should we believe them?”
Mahira Sharma first appeared in the series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, before becoming widely known through shows like Naagin 3, Kundali Bhagya, and Bepanah Pyaar. However, it was her participation in Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 13 that truly catapulted her into the spotlight.
