On Thursday, January 30, British singer Ed Sheeran met with the England Cricket Team on the opening night of his much-anticipated India tour in Pune. Sheeran’s performance kicked off his ‘Mathematics’ tour, enchanting his audience with heartfelt melodies.
The renowned artist extended an invitation to the England Cricket Team, who were in Pune for the fourth T20I match against India in a five-match series. Backstage, Sheeran had a special gathering with the entire England squad and their coaching staff, where he was gifted a signed jersey from England’s captain, Jos Buttler. In exchange, Sheeran presented Buttler with a jersey from his beloved football club, Ipswich Town.
England Cricket shared moments from this memorable encounter on their X account, describing it as a ‘perfect’ evening for the players and staff. India Leads the T20I Series 2-1

The fourth match is set to take place on Friday, January 31, at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. India secured victories in the first two matches held in Kolkata and Chennai.
