Madhya Pradesh CM Praises Indian Community in Japan During Historic Visit
Tokyo, Japan—Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, expressed his admiration for the Indian community in Japan during a recent meeting. He described the diaspora as "sugar in milk," emphasizing their positive contribution to society wherever they settle.
During his interaction on Wednesday, Yadav stated, "Indians are like sugar in milk. They bring sweetness and blend in seamlessly in different countries. We share a sense of welfare and unity wherever we go." He highlighted the long-term impact of the Indian diaspora on future generations, saying, "You have created pathways that will benefit the upcoming generations."
Yadav spoke about the significant changes in India over the past decade, particularly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted the enthusiastic celebrations among people during his visits, reflecting the positive changes in the country. The Chief Minister further discussed Modi’s vision of promoting India as a ‘Vishwaguru’ or leader in the world.
He drew parallels between India and Japan, underscoring their cultural similarities and connections. Yadav also mentioned improvements in Madhya Pradesh’s education sector, pointing out that the number of medical colleges has increased from five during the previous Congress government to thirty under the BJP’s governance, with plans to reach fifty soon.
"This growth in education is similar across various sectors. It’s essential to make the most of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership to ensure the nation’s progress, regardless of which party is in power," he added.
This visit marks the first official trip by a Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh to Japan. During his stay, Yadav met Yasushi Furukawa, Japan’s State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism. Their discussions centered around boosting tourism between Madhya Pradesh and Japan, and promoting the rich heritage of both regions.
In a statement on social media, Yadav noted, "We discussed the immense potential for tourism and infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh, which is a key state for tourism in India. Promoting exchanges between Japan and Madhya Pradesh will benefit both cultures immensely."
Throughout his visit, CM Yadav engaged in various high-level meetings with business leaders, government officials, and investors, aiming to strengthen ties and collaborations between Madhya Pradesh and Japan.
