Shocking Incident in Jodhpur: Man Allegedly Kills Business Partner’s Children
In a disturbing event in Boranada, Jodhpur, a 70-year-old man is accused of murdering the two children of his business partner following feelings of betrayal. The children, a 12-year-old girl named Tamanna and her 8-year-old brother Shivpal, were picked up from school on Friday and did not return home. Their bodies were discovered two days later in the man’s rented house.
According to police reports, the accused, identified as Shyam Singh Bhati, expressed his grievances in a note found at the scene. In it, he allegedly admitted to killing the children because of the fallout from a partnership in a bangle business with their father, Pradeep Devasai. The note also indicated Bhati’s intent to take his own life.
The relationship between Bhati and Devasai spanned over 20 years, but it soured after Devasai withdrew from the bangle business they started together nine months ago. DCP (West) Rajarshi Raj Verma explained that Bhati was frustrated and harbored resentment towards Devasai’s family, which led to this tragic act.
Police revealed that Bhati took the children to his home near the bangle factory, situated close to the Jain Temple in Boranada, under the pretense of returning them home. The heartbreaking discovery of the children’s remains happened after their families had reported them missing.
Currently, Bhati is on the run, and law enforcement agencies are actively searching for him. The two young victims attended school in the area, and the community is in shock over this horrifying event that has deeply affected families in the neighborhood.
