Indian cricket icon Sunil Gavaskar recently shared his thoughts on India’s prospects for the ongoing Test match in Sydney. Speaking in an exclusive interview, he expressed a positive outlook despite the team’s batting difficulties on the first day. Gavaskar emphasized that the side, led by Jasprit Bumrah, remains a formidable opponent for Australia.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by India’s top order, particularly in the absence of captain Rohit Sharma. However, Gavaskar was quick to point out that Bumrah’s exceptional leadership and bowling skills could play a crucial role in shifting the momentum back to India’s side. With these strengths, he believes there is still hope for India to make a strong comeback in the match.
