Arjun Kapoor is making a comeback to romantic comedies after drawing significant attention for his role in Singham Again. Teaming up with him are talented actresses Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar. The trio will take audiences on a light-hearted journey together for the first time in a film titled Mere Husband Ki Biwi, and the first poster has just been revealed.

The film’s poster has created quite a buzz, showing a man’s shoe caught between stylish high heels and a traditional Punjabi jooty. This imagery cleverly represents the characters that Rakul and Bhumi will play, hinting at a comedic exploration of romantic misunderstandings. The motion poster also includes the catchy song “Gori Hai Kalaiyan” from the classic film Aaj Ka Arjun, featuring legends Jaya Prada and Amitabh Bachchan. Additionally, it suggests the film will go beyond just a love triangle to depict a “love circle,” adding to the intrigue.

Director Mudassar Aziz expressed his excitement for the project, stating that he aims to create stories that entertain audiences of all ages. "I’ve always cherished films that bring laughter and foster connections among friends and family," he said. He believes Mere Husband Ki Biwi reflects the fun and complexities of love, promising a film that will resonate long after viewers leave the theater.

Jackky Bhagnani, one of the film’s producers, shared his enthusiasm as well. He praised the chemistry between Arjun, Rakul, and Bhumi, describing the film as a modern, humorous take on relationships. "In these times, we need more laughter, and we’re excited to bring this family-friendly entertainer to the big screen," he noted.

Although specific story details are still under wraps, the fresh dynamics of the cast and Aziz’s track record with ensemble comedies have already sparked interest in the film. Mere Husband Ki Biwi is set to hit theaters on February 21, 2025, and is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Audiences are definitely looking forward to the fun and chaos that awaits!
