India’s young fast bowler Harshit Rana praised his captain Jasprit Bumrah and star batsman Virat Kohli for their ongoing support during the Perth Test against Australia. This guidance has been crucial for Rana, especially as he made his debut in this important match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The 22-year-old pacer, who played alongside all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, had an impressive start to his career, taking three wickets for 48 runs. His performance played a key role in putting India in a strong position in the game.
Rana expressed his gratitude, saying, “Jassi bhai (Jasprit Bumrah) kept advising me on what to do, and Virat bhai offered helpful tips too. Their input made a big difference for me. Whenever they were around, they would tell me how to approach my bowling, where to aim the ball, and what to avoid. This encouragement boosted my confidence, making me feel that if they’re guiding me, I can certainly succeed.”
