India’s cricket team is ready to move forward, leaving behind their recent challenges against New Zealand, according to stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah as they prepare for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Bumrah emphasized the importance of starting each match with a fresh mindset. “Whether you win or lose, you always begin anew. That’s what makes cricket exciting. Winning the World Cup doesn’t mean we can relax in other series. I look at it that way. Sure, we were disappointed with our last series, but we’re not bogged down by it. We’re coming in with a positive attitude, ready to learn and adapt to the changes in the team, and focused on playing good cricket,” he stated.
With this fresh approach, the team aims to embrace their new challenges and improve as they gear up for the competition ahead.
