Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, two of Bollywood’s biggest stars known for their work in films like “Suhaag,” “Khakee,” and “Sooryavanshi,” are set to team up again, but this time, Ajay will be directing. The exciting announcement was made during the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024, where Ajay shared his plans for his next project featuring Akshay in the lead role.

In a statement, Ajay said, “We are already working on something together where I am directing the film, and he is in the film.” Although he did not reveal specific details about the film or its genre, he mentioned that it might be too early to discuss further. Akshay, known for his playful nature, jokingly offered to send the film script himself.

During the same event, Akshay Kumar also addressed the much-awaited “Hera Pheri 3.” He humorously commented that the sequel would kick off once producer Firoz Nadiadwala finishes his own “hera pheri,” but on a serious note, he confirmed that production would start next year. Currently, he is busy filming “Welcome to the Jungle,” the latest installment in the popular “Welcome” franchise.

Ajay Devgn, who recently impressed audiences with his role in “Singham Again,” continues to juggle his responsibilities as both an actor and a director. He has several projects lined up, including sequels to “Raid,” “De De Pyaar De,” and “Son of Sardaar.” Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has a busy schedule ahead, with films like “Housefull 5,” “Jolly LLB 3,” “Sky Force,” and “Bhooth Bangla” set to release soon.

Fans are surely excited about this collaboration and the return of Akshay to “Hera Pheri,” marking another chapter in the careers of these beloved stars.
