Australia has recently announced its roster of contracted female players for the 2025\/26 season, and the list includes some exciting names. Notably, Tess Flintoff has earned her first full-time contract, while Georgia Voll also received her first national contract after a remarkable debut season, which featured an impressive ODI century and recognition as the ICC Player of the Month for March.<\/p>\n
However, the announcement also brought some surprise as veteran all-rounder Jess Jonassen, a six-time World Cup champion, was left out of the contracted players. She has not played for the Australian team since late 2023.<\/p>\n

Players not included on the primary contract list can still earn contracts throughout the year by accumulating points through matches\u2014five points for Tests, and two points each for ODIs and T20Is.<\/p>\n
With an ODI World Cup scheduled later this year and a multi-format series against India on the horizon, Flegler emphasized the importance of adaptability among players. He assured that even though Jonassen is currently not on the contracted list, she remains on their radar.<\/p>\n
