He explained that during the attack, adrenaline kept him from feeling the pain initially. “I didn\u2019t feel much at first because of the adrenaline and shock,” he shared. However, as the altercation escalated, he sustained multiple cuts on his hands and arms while trying to defend himself. “There was so much violence, and I was just barefoot, trying to fight back,” said Saif.<\/p>\n
Regarding Kareena’s actions during the incident, Saif shared that she was focused on ensuring the safety of their younger son, Jeh. “She was shouting for someone to take the kids out while I was defending myself,” he recalled. Saif confirmed that she managed to call for help while attempting to protect them from the attacker.<\/p>\n
There were also questions about why they didn’t wait for a driver to take them to the hospital. Saif explained, \u201cWe usually have staff during events, but they also have homes to go back to. We wanted to act fast.\u201d Taimur insisted on accompanying his father to the hospital, which Saif felt was comforting. The rickshaw driver, noticing Saif’s injuries, took immediate action, helping them reach the hospital quickly and safely.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on his injuries, Saif described how close he came to a life-threatening situation. “I had a serious stab behind my shoulder blade that almost affected my spinal cord,” he said. Medical professionals informed him that just a slight shift could have led to paralysis. Despite the severity of his injuries, Saif expressed gratitude for his recovery and emphasized the luck he experienced that day. “It\u2019s truly a miracle that I\u2019m not more seriously harmed.”<\/p>\n
He further addressed conspiracy theories about his attack, stating, “It\u2019s not a matter of opinion\u2014either you’re hurt or you’re not. I’ve got numerous stitches and scars, but I\u2019m grateful to be alive.” Saif also mentioned that despite the injuries on his neck, he was fortunate to miss serious vital arteries.<\/p>\n
