This partnership was announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and represents a significant step in strengthening the security ties between the two nations.<\/p>\n The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed on January 17, 2025, in Washington, D.C. The signing was attended by Indian Ambassador Vinay Kwatra and Kristie Canegallo, the Acting U.S. Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security.<\/p>\n This agreement comes at a pivotal moment as the current U.S. administration prepares for a transition to a new leadership.
