Air India and Air India Express have announced that their flights to various cities in Saudi Arabia will remain cancelled until November 14 due to ongoing tensions in the region. Previously, these airlines had suspended services to Riyadh and Dammam until November 7, and flights to Jeddah until October 31.<\/p>\n
Other carriers, including IndiGo and Akasa Air, have also cancelled their flights to Saudi Arabia during this time. In recent weeks, there have been increasing conflicts in West Asia, impacting infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, including airports.<\/p>\n
According to Air India, \u201cDue to the prevailing situation in the region, flights to and from Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam will stay suspended until November 14, 2026 (inclusive).\u201d Passengers who booked their tickets on or before October 30 for travel up to November 14 can change their travel plans once without any extra charge, depending on availability, for travel until November 29. They also have the option to receive a full refund if they choose to cancel their bookings.<\/p>\n
Air India passengers can rebook flights to or from any active Air India station in Saudi Arabia. Similarly, Air India Express passengers can rebook to or from any active station of Air India Express in Saudi Arabia or Bahrain.<\/p>\n
IndiGo has suspended flights to and from Jeddah, Dammam, and Madinah until November 14, while Akasa Air has cancelled its routes connecting Riyadh until November 30 and Jeddah until November 10.
