As flu season nears, SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic is preparing to hold several vaccination clinics for both adults and children. <\/p>\n
These clinics will take place on October 15, 16, 19, and 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Ripon location on 835 Parkside Street. It’s important to note that flu vaccines will be available while supplies last.<\/p>\n
In addition to flu shots, the clinics will offer COVID-19 vaccinations if they are in stock. For expectant mothers who are not patients at the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, a doctor’s order will be necessary to receive the vaccine.<\/p>\n
Parents should keep in mind that children must be healthy on the day of their appointment for the flu vaccine. They won’t have a chance to see their healthcare provider before receiving their shot. Also, children aged 8 and under who are getting vaccinated for the first time will require two doses, spaced a month apart.<\/p>\n
