On Wednesday, Amaal posted a message on X (formerly Twitter), stating that there should be no remarks regarding his family. He said, “A statutory warning to everyone on every social platform\u2026 Not a word about my family will be tolerated.”<\/p>\n
The conversation stemmed from the anniversary celebration of \u201cMain Hoon Hero Tera,\u201d a song from 2015 that featured Salman Khan. Amaal clarified the important contributions behind the song’s creation, explaining that it was his brother Armaan Malik who sang the main version, which was then presented to Salman Khan and filmmaker Nikhil Advani. He noted, \u201cWithout Me & Kumaar sir, there would be no song to sing. Additionally, without Armaan, there would be nothing for Salman to sing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amaal further warned those who insulted his family, stating that he would take action against them. He pledged his support for his father, Daboo Malik, declaring, \u201cI will expose anyone who speaks out against my family. If anyone in the film industry disrespects us for no reason, be prepared for a clash.\u201d<\/p>\n
The controversy initially arose after Salman Khan Films shared a post celebrating the 10-year milestone of “Main Hoon Hero Tera,” which did not initially credit Amaal as the composer. Following Amaal’s remarks highlighting this oversight, the post was later updated to include his name.<\/p>\n
This incident led to mixed reactions online, with some users labeling Amaal as ungrateful toward Salman Khan. In response, both Amaal and his brother, singer Armaan Malik, defended their positions, sparking further discussions on social media.
