This confirmation comes after Rapperiya Baalam raised concerns about how the song was included in a scene featuring gangsters. The rapper claimed that \u201cShoorveer,\u201d which he wrote as a tribute to Maharana Pratap, was used without his permission or proper credit.<\/p>\n
In response to the growing questions about the song’s copyright, Trouper Records made it clear that everything was above board. They congratulated the film’s team, effectively ending the debate about the song’s licensing status.<\/p>\n
Rapperiya Baalam had expressed his disappointment on social media after the film’s release on September 4. He questioned why his permission was not sought for using his song, stating, “Today, my heart is broken. Some may wonder why. After all, my song is in Mirzapur. But the team didn\u2019t ask me for permission. Who gave them the right?”<\/p>\n
He also expressed concern over the context in which the song was featured. \u201cThis song is dedicated to Maharana Pratap ji. We are using this song to glorify the villains in the movie. Is this right?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n
