This initiative aims to support the country\u2019s shift towards cleaner energy.<\/p>\n<p>Essar Energy Transition Fuels (EETF), a subsidiary of Essar, currently operates the Stanlow refinery, which has a capacity of 200,000 barrels per day. <\/p>\n<p>According to Prashant Ruia, Chairman of EETF, this significant investment will not only aid the UK\u2019s energy transition but is also expected to provide substantial long-term economic benefits and create thousands of skilled jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Out of this total investment, over \u00a31 billion is close to receiving final approval to transform the Stanlow site into a central hub for energy transition activities.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these projects, Essar is working on expanding its retail presence in the UK, with plans to supply fuels to 800 new locations.
