Berhampur:<\/strong> A 27-year-old Indian Air Force jawan was arrested on Saturday after a woman accused him of maintaining a romantic relationship under the false promise of marriage. The arrest came just a day before his scheduled wedding to another woman.<\/p>\n The man, identified as Sourabh Sahu from Suraj Bihar in Berhampur, had reportedly been in a relationship with the complainant since 2021. According to police, the woman discovered that Sahu was set to marry someone else on Sunday, which prompted her to file a complaint.<\/p>\n Subrat Kumar Behura, the inspector-in-charge of Baidyanathpur police station, stated, \u201cWe registered a case under Section 69 of the BNS based on her allegations and subsequently arrested him after gathering sufficient evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n The woman, who was a classmate of Sahu, claimed that he had misled her for years about his intentions.
