Sunny Deol made an unexpected appearance at the end of a media screening for Ikka<\/em>, held in a preview theater in Mumbai. He took a moment to chat with journalists about the movie and other topics.<\/p>\n In Ikka<\/em>, Sunny takes on the role of a passionate lawyer, which brought back memories of his iconic performance in Damini<\/em> from 1993. He shared, \u201cI hadn\u2019t played a character like this in a while. Finally, I got the chance when Netflix approached me for the film.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking about his co-star Akshaye Khanna, Sunny said, \u201cWe worked together in Border<\/em> back in 1997, and he\u2019s a fantastic person. We have a great rapport, especially since he is Vinod Khanna’s son, which adds to our bond.\u201d<\/p>\n Known for his action-packed roles, Sunny noted that Ikka<\/em> doesn\u2019t feature such sequences. He explained, \u201cThere are no fight scenes in this film. It\u2019s all about the character; he\u2019s a refined family man who is forced to take certain actions.\u201d<\/p>\n Journalists noticed his clean-shaven look and speculated it was for a film role. Sunny responded humorously, \u201cNowadays, it seems everyone is focused on appearances. Acting has taken a backseat!\u201d <\/p>\n When a journalist mentioned hopes for a sequel, Ikka 2<\/em>, Sunny smiled and said, \u201cLet\u2019s hope for the best. If audiences enjoy the film, there\u2019s always a chance. Until the film is a success, I don\u2019t think about sequels!\u201d<\/p>\n Ikka<\/em> won\u2019t be released in theaters, but it will be available to viewers worldwide. Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh joked, \u201cDhaai kilo ka haath<\/em> will reach the whole world!\u201d<\/p>\n Lastly, Sunny addressed his credit in the film as ‘Dharmendra\u2019s son, Sunny Deol’, which was also used in Border 2<\/em> earlier this year.
