This period has attracted quite a bit of attention, and now we can share details on the changes made to the film.<\/p>\n<p>The CBFC requested edits to several scenes, notably removing visuals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar from a book\u2019s cover. While the overall length of the scene stayed the same, the dialogue referring to Ambedkar and Vijay&#8217;s political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), was altered or muted throughout the film.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these changes, the CBFC asked for the deletion of scenes showing the Indian flag falling to the ground. Certain words like &#8220;Bhagavatham,&#8221; &#8220;Ranganathar,&#8221; and some inappropriate language were also muted. The term &#8220;Om&#8221; was removed where it appeared, alongside the phrase &#8220;New India,&#8221; which was part of a discussion about Operation Meluha. Moreover, any dialogue mentioning social media that was deemed controversial was also censored.<\/p>\n<p>Scenes depicting a DC badge rolling disrespectfully were replaced, and dialogue where a character disrespects a woman was muted. Additionally, the word &#8220;Siluvalia&#8221; was also muted, and the name &#8220;Sheela Rani&#8221; was changed wherever it was mentioned. Lastly, two scenes depicting a child burning were cut from the film.<\/p>\n<p>In total, about 20 seconds of footage was removed.
