Actor Rajesh Sharma has been hospitalized in Kolkata after experiencing a suspected insect bite while working on a film featuring Prabhas at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n
According to actress Sudipa Chatterjee and filmmaker Agnidev Chatterjee, Rajesh was chatting with local crew members in a grassy area after wrapping up for the day when he felt what seemed to be an insect bite. Initially, he didn\u2019t think much of it and delayed seeking medical help. However, about six hours later, he started experiencing severe pain in his right leg and began feeling unwell.<\/p>\n
Despite his worsening condition, Rajesh decided to fly to Kolkata. During the flight, his health worsened further as he developed a high fever and became restless. The following day, he was admitted to a private hospital in south Kolkata.<\/p>\n
Currently, Rajesh is facing a high fever, breathlessness, and a spreading infection in his right leg. The infection, which has moved from his toes to his knee, has caused large blisters in the affected area. Dr. Avijit Bhattacharya mentioned that it is too early to determine the full extent of his condition, but he remains under careful observation and is not out of danger yet. The doctors are also monitoring him for possible complications, such as a blood clot that could be life-threatening if it moves to the lungs.<\/p>\n
Sudipa and Agnidev expressed gratitude to everyone who has shown support during this challenging time. They particularly thanked the media, the Bengal Motion Pictures Artists\u2019 Forum, Rajesh\u2019s friends, and Shri Prosenjit Chatterjee for their guidance and assistance.<\/p>\n
