The robots, developed by experts at Dalian Jiaotong University, can detect cables buried under sediment with a precision error of less than 5%. They are capable of operating in water depths of up to 300 meters (984 feet) and can work continuously, even in rough ocean conditions. <\/p>\n
Chen Shaohua, a professor involved in the project, shared insights about the robots, saying they are equipped with two complementary cameras to enhance their functionality.
