In a hearing on Friday, Justice Madhav Jamdar listened to initial arguments. The court instructed the involved parties, including the online platforms, to collaborate on a method for removing the disputed content. The case has been scheduled for a follow-up hearing on July 6.<\/p>\n
In her lawsuit, Zinta highlighted several instances where her image has been manipulated or used inappropriately without her consent, including AI-generated videos and chatbot interactions. She urged the court to act quickly to have this content taken down and to stop any future unauthorized use of her likeness.<\/p>\n
This legal move comes amid rising concerns about how artificial intelligence can be misused to create deceptive digital content featuring public figures.<\/p>\n
During the hearing, Justice Jamdar encouraged the parties to find a workable solution for removing the questionable materials from various websites. While the court did not make any temporary orders regarding the case’s specifics, it set July 6 as the date for the next hearing. <\/p>\n
Deepfake technology uses AI to craft or modify images, audio, or videos, making it possible to create realistic portrayals of individuals saying or doing things they haven’t done.
