At 2nd Bridge Brewing in Manchester, fans gathered to cheer on teams during the Brazil-Haiti match, followed by the Turkiye-Paraguay game. Owner Steven White shared how the tournament has positively impacted their establishment. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis has been a huge boost for us. Not only are sales up, but we’re also getting more exposure to people who didn\u2019t know we were here,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n
Aidan Mannarino, a fan watching the games, praised the atmosphere. \u201cThis bar is great for soccer. It feels like a European pub, and it\u2019s fun to enjoy the games with friends,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Watch parties, like those on Pratt Street in Hartford and at various soccer bars, have drawn thousands to celebrate this major tournament. At Sunberry Restaurant & Bar, additional staff have been brought in to manage the growing crowds during the USA watch parties.<\/p>\n
Bar manager Cody Stetler noted how the World Cup has changed the usual flow of business. \u201cNormally, this time of year is slower for us, but it’s bustling right now,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
With games running from noon until night, venues are staying busy all day. White remarked on the excitement of watching the matches. \u201cWhen the goals are scored, it gets wild, and it\u2019s really nice to see the community come together,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
