Baku Hosts Special Yoga Session Ahead of International Day of Yoga 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n Baku, Azerbaijan \u2013 On June 15, the Indian Embassy in Baku held a special yoga event at India House to kick off the celebrations for the upcoming International Day of Yoga in 2026.<\/p>\n The gathering attracted a diverse group of attendees, including a Member of Parliament from Azerbaijan, various ambassadors, diplomats, and yoga enthusiasts from both Azerbaijan and the Indian community.<\/p>\n Renowned Azerbaijani yoga instructor Irada Aliyeva led the session, which included a variety of yoga poses such as Suryanamaskar, alongside breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana).<\/p>\n During the event, Ambassador Abhay Kumar welcomed the guests and expressed his appreciation for their participation.
