Recently, elite players gathered at the French Open to voice their concerns over what they believe is an unfair distribution of the substantial revenues generated by these major events.<\/p>\n<h4>Tensions at the French Open<\/h4>\n<p>Frustrations surged during the French Open when officials announced only a 9.5% increase to their prize pool. Key players, including top-ranked Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, publicly expressed their disappointment, highlighting that the players\u2019 share of the revenue had actually fallen from 15.5% in 2024 to a predicted 14.9% in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In a symbolic act of protest, several top-10 players limited their pre-tournament press talks to just 15 minutes, referencing the 15% revenue share they felt confined by.
