Mumbai:<\/strong> Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut announced on Sunday that Uddhav Thackeray, the president of Shiv Sena (UBT), will participate in the upcoming INDIA bloc meeting on Monday through video conferencing.<\/p>\n \u201cThe meeting was initially scheduled for June 7, but it has been pushed to June 8. While Congress may not be able to attend in person, Uddhav will join online. We fully support the INDIA bloc and want it to stay strong,\u201d Raut stated.<\/p>\n This meeting, the first in a while, comes at a time of shifting alliances within the group. Notably, the DMK has indicated it will not participate, following Congress’s decision to back the TVK party in Tamil Nadu.<\/p>\n On Thursday, DMK spokesperson TKS Ekangovan confirmed to ANI that the party no longer considers itself part of the INDIA bloc.<\/p>\n During Monday’s meeting, a strategy for the future of the INDIA bloc will be discussed. Abhishek Banerjee, former Chief Minister of West Bengal and national general secretary, will present the views of the TMC, as the party seeks to rally support amid recent changes in the state.
