He is seeking approximately $12,383 to cover the damages and lost income, as he typically charges more for commercial activities.<\/p>\n The issues became apparent to Donovan when he visited the home to collect trash. He noticed wires running into the house and discovered a man working with a laptop near what looked like a robot. When the guests left, Donovan found the home in disarray with kitchen items scattered, appliances scratched, and furniture damaged. He also reported that personal belongings, including a shoe rack and shoes, were missing.<\/p>\n His investigation revealed that the guests were employees of The Bot Company, and he found similar complaints from other hosts who had rented to the startup.<\/p>\n Donovan argues that if the company had being truthful about their intentions\u2014like renting the property specifically for robot testing\u2014they could have reached a fair agreement.
