Dix Hills Woman Faces Doctor Search Amid Insurance Negotiations<\/strong><\/p>\n A resident of Dix Hills is in a tough spot as she looks for new doctors due to ongoing negotiations between Northwell Health and Fidelis Care regarding insurance coverage.<\/p>\n Terri Eisen, who relies on Fidelis Care for her health insurance, could lose access to her Northwell doctors if an agreement isn’t reached by July 15. Eisen has several health issues that require specialized care and treatment. If the two organizations can’t come to terms, she’ll have to quickly find new doctors, make appointments, and ensure her treatments continue\u2014all in less than two months.<\/p>\n \u201cThis puts an unfair burden on me,\u201d Eisen expressed.
