Anupria Goenka is having quite an exciting month! On May 15, her new film, IIZ: Indian Institute Of Zombies<\/em>, hit theaters, marking her first movie release in four years. To top it off, she’ll celebrate her birthday on May 29. But that’s not all\u2014she’s also set to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year!<\/p>\n In an exclusive conversation, Anupria shared, \u201cI\u2019m going to Cannes for the premiere of Bombay Stories<\/em>. Even though it\u2019s being shown in the market section and not in the official selection, it\u2019s still very special for me. This will be my first time visiting Cannes.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cAfter the festival, I plan to travel a bit. I haven’t seen much of Europe; I’ve only been to the United Kingdom. So, this birthday, I want to break out of my routine and explore new countries (smiles)!\u201d<\/p>\n Anupria also mentioned, \u201cI\u2019m leaving for Cannes on May 18, right after IIZ: Indian Institute Of Zombies<\/em> is released. Wish me luck (smiles)!\u201d<\/p>\n Anupria has starred in two hit films from the YRF Spy Universe: Tiger Zinda Hai<\/em> (2017) and War<\/em> (2019). This franchise is facing some scrutiny following the release of Dhurandhar<\/em> (2025) and its sequel. <\/p>\n When asked about the criticism aimed at the franchise, Anupria commented, \u201cI really don\u2019t keep up with that kind of news. I\u2019m proud of both War<\/em> and Tiger Zinda Hai<\/em>, and I loved filming those projects. I also enjoyed watching Pathaan<\/em> (2023). To me, War<\/em> and Tiger Zinda Hai<\/em> were fantastic films. Dhurandhar<\/em> offers a different style of entertainment, and there\u2019s room for all types of movies. Everyone has their own tastes, and I thought Dhurandhar<\/em> was really great.
