He argues that the speech, which aired on public channels Doordarshan and Sansad TV, was intended to sway voters during the ongoing elections.<\/p>\n<p>In his petition, Prathapan pointed out that the Prime Minister criticized opposition parties for the failure of the 131st Constitutional amendment bill. He believes this represents a misuse of government resources, as taxpayer-funded channels were used to broadcast a political message.<\/p>\n<p>The petition states that this action violates the model code of conduct, which is in place to ensure fair elections. According to the Representation of People Act, using government machinery for election-related purposes is considered corrupt practice.
