Mrunal Thakur, Adivi Sesh, Anurag Kashyap, and Zayn Marie Khan recently gathered in Mumbai for the trailer launch of their film Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha<\/strong>. This project is unique as it has been shot simultaneously in both Hindi and Telugu, rather than being a Hindi dubbed version.<\/p>\n Adivi Sesh shared insights into the film’s development, drawing inspiration from the movie Pad Man<\/strong>, featuring Akshay Kumar. He emphasized the importance of cultural differences, saying, \u201cIn the US, people wear black dresses to mourn, while in India, we wear white and express our emotions openly.\u201d This cultural understanding influenced creative choices, such as the transformation of the song \u2018Chichubuddi\u2019<\/strong> into \u2018Touch Buddy\u2019<\/strong> to better resonate with Hindi audiences.<\/p>\n He recalled how he was intrigued by the storyline of Pad Man<\/strong>. \u201cIt made me think, \u2018Why can\u2019t we showcase a Tamil story to a Hindi audience?\u2019\u201d He decided to set the film within the context of the Badlands along the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border, aiming to present it in a way that connects authentically with Hindi viewers. <\/p>\n Sesh further mentioned a positive surprise he had during the launch of \u2018Touch Buddy\u2019<\/strong> in Gorakhpur, where the audience instinctively began reciting the dubbed dialogues. They felt a connection, saying, “You are speaking our language.
