Colorectal cancer (CRC) has now become the leading cause of cancer deaths in adults under 50, according to a new report from the American Cancer Society. While the rates of this disease have been decreasing among older adults, a concerning trend shows that younger adults, particularly those aged 20 to 49, are experiencing an increase in diagnoses.<\/p>\n
The report, titled Colorectal Cancer Statistics, 2026<\/em>, reveals that nearly half of all new colorectal cancer cases\u2014about 45%\u2014are found in adults aged 65 and younger.
