The buyer, NTT Global Data Centres, is part of the well-known NTT Group from Tokyo, which is recognized worldwide for its data center and cloud services.<\/p>\n<p>This acquisition reflects NTT&#8217;s plans to grow its business in India, where the demand for digital infrastructure is rapidly increasing due to factors like cloud computing and enhanced connectivity. According to documents from real estate consultancy Square Yards, the sold area measures about 30,195 square meters (around 325,000 square feet), placing it in one of Mumbai&#8217;s promising commercial sectors. Notably, the transaction benefited from a government resolution in 2024 that exempted it from regular stamp duty, requiring only a small metro cess.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the first notable real estate venture for the Kapoor family.
