They stated that they are prepared to address any threats or provocation that might arise during this critical time, according to an interview with AFP.<\/p>\n The CAR, known for its rich resources, serves as a stronghold for the Wagner Group, a paramilitary organization that has become a key security partner for the CAR government. In return for their services, Wagner has secured lucrative contracts for mining gold and diamonds.<\/p>\n Alexander Ivanov, who leads the Russian contractors in the country, discussed the situation as the elections approach.
