Shah Rukh Khan’s name was officially honored in Mumbai yesterday as a new skyscraper named “Shahrukhz By Danube” was launched. The event was spearheaded by Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group, who had hinted at the occasion prior, and it didn’t disappoint.<\/p>\n
During the event, SRK brought smiles to the crowd with his heartfelt quotes and personal stories. One touching moment came when Rizwan shared an experience about how Shah Rukh connected with his ill wife, Sameera. While on a flight together, Rizwan informed her about SRK’s presence and relayed her message asking for his prayers. Despite being busy, Shah Rukh took the time to video call Sameera and spoke with her for over half an hour, offering comfort and well-wishes.<\/p>\n
Rizwan recalled, \u201cShah Rukh not only prayed for her but truly cared. He could have simply acknowledged her message and moved on, but he chose to engage deeply. It meant the world to us.\u201d <\/p>\n
The inspiration for naming the tower after Shah Rukh stemmed from a dream Rizwan had while in London. He shared this idea with his family, and they encouraged him to pursue it. After discussing it with SRK’s team, the project was swiftly approved.<\/p>\n
Farah Khan, who hosted the launch, lightened the mood with her humor, saying, “When Pooja says ‘It\u2019s possible’, then it\u2019s really possible!”<\/p>\n
The event captured the spirit of admiration and connection that Shah Rukh has cultivated over the years, reminding fans of his kindness beyond the screen.
