It was a thrilling event, with several big names attracting impressive bids. The standout of the auction was Dewald Brevis, who became the most expensive player in SA20 history after being sold to Pretoria Capitals for an incredible R16.5 million. A fierce bidding battle unfolded between the Joburg Super Kings and the Capitals, but Pretoria ultimately secured the young batting star.<\/p>\n<p>Following closely was Aiden Markram, fetching the second-highest bid at R14 million from the Durban Super Giants. Durban was eager to sign Markram, who had previously led Sunrisers Eastern Cape to consecutive titles.
