Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie Son Of Sardaar 2 has had its release date changed. Originally set for July 25, the film will now hit theaters a week later, on August 1.

The decision to delay the release comes in light of the surprising success of Yash Raj Films’ Saiyaara, which premiered on July 18 and received positive reviews. Industry insiders believe that Saiyaara will perform well during its opening weekend, and prolonging its success into the following week could heavily impact the box office performance of Son Of Sardaar 2. To avoid this competition, Devgn and his team have opted to shift their film’s release date.

A trade expert praised this decision, stating it allows Son Of Sardaar 2 to enjoy a more favorable two-week gap after Saiyaara, resulting in a better chance for both films to succeed. July has already seen several successful releases, and with Son Of Sardaar 2 and the highly anticipated War 2 in August, the cinema scene looks promising.

Son Of Sardaar 2 features an ensemble cast including Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, and Sanjay Mishra, among others. The film is produced by Devgn Films and Jio Studios, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora.

Fans are eager to see how both films will perform in the coming weeks.

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie Son Of Sardaar 2 has had its release date changed.
