Former Indian Cricketer Dilip Doshi Passes Away at 77<\/strong><\/p>\n Dilip Doshi, a former left-arm spinner for India, has sadly passed away at the age of 77. He died on June 23 in London, as confirmed by a close family friend. Doshi is remembered for his contributions to cricket and is survived by his son and daughter.<\/p>\n Doshi made his mark in international cricket later in life, debuting for India at the age of 32. He played 33 Test matches and took 114 wickets, including six occasions where he achieved five wickets in a match. In his 15 One Day Internationals (ODIs), he secured 22 wickets. His cricket journey began in the 1968-69 domestic season, where he played 238 first-class games and claimed a remarkable 898 wickets, representing Bengal and Saurashtra.<\/p>\n Cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara paid tribute to Doshi at the end of the day\u2019s play during the Leeds Test, recalling the fond memories they shared.
