Written by actor and filmmaker Anshuman Jha, and illustrated by American comic artist Brittain Peck, this novel is inspired by the film Lakadbaggha<\/em> (2023), where Anshuman takes on the role of an animal vigilante. The event also saw the presence of Ridhi Dogra, who appeared in the film.<\/p>\n During the launch, John shared exciting news about his future projects. He said, \u201cInterestingly, my director has created a comic book named \u2018Munkeeman\u2019. We are currently working on a film based on it. The director, Abhishek Sharma, is someone I previously collaborated with on Parmanu<\/em> (2018). He\u2019s incredibly smart, and the subject is fascinating. My love for animals is why this film is happening.\u201d<\/p>\n Munkeeman<\/em> was originally launched in 2012, drawing inspiration from a mysterious incident that stirred panic in Delhi that year. According to its synopsis, "In the summer of 2001, a strange creature caused chaos in Delhi. Its identity was unknown until it suddenly disappeared, only to resurface today as Munkeeman, who wants to prove he\u2019s not a monster, but an authentic superhero of India." Abhishek Sharma has also directed other notable films like Tere Bin Laden<\/em> (2010) and Ram Setu<\/em> (2022).<\/p>\n Additionally, John drew attention with his striking new mustache. When a reporter inquired whether this was his look for the Rakesh Maria biopic, he confirmed it with a \u201cyes."
