This was his second race of the season, and while his time was over a second slower than his previous race in Xiamen on April 26, he improved his position, moving up five spots from his last outing.<\/p>\n In Xiamen, Sable placed 13th with a time of 8 minutes and 22.59 seconds, facing a talented group of athletes. The race on Saturday was won by Abrham Sime from Ethiopia, who clocked an impressive 8:07.82. Kenyans Edmund Serem and Simon Kiprop Koech secured second and third places with times of 8:08.68 and 8:09.05, respectively.<\/p>\n Another Ethiopian athlete, Samuel Firewu, who previously triumphed in Xiamen, finished sixth this time with a time of 8:11.18.
