MS Dhoni Channels His Inner ‘Animal’ in a Fun New Ad

Former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni has shown off his playful side in a new advertisement. In the ad for EMotorad, an electric bicycle company, Dhoni humorously impersonated Ranbir Kapoor’s iconic character, Ranvijay Singh, from the movie "Animal."

In a standout moment, Dhoni recreated a scene where Ranbir dramatically steps out of his car with a group, but with a twist—he rode onto the scene on an electric bicycle instead! This playful portrayal caught the eye of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who praised Dhoni’s acting and expressed confidence that fans would love it.

While staying in character, Dhoni playfully delivered one of Ranbir’s popular lines from the film: "Sunaiye de raha hai mujhe, behra nahi hu main," which translates to “I can hear, I’m not deaf.” This delighted Vanga, who was thrilled with Dhoni’s performance and encouraged his leading man to keep up the humor.

The ad continued with Dhoni mimicking another memorable entry from the movie, complete with a mullet hairstyle. Vanga exclaimed that this combination would surely be a hit, but Dhoni jokingly reminded him that it was just an ad for an electric bicycle. Not easily deterred, Vanga moved ahead with the playful energy. The final scene featured Dhoni one last time, imitating Ranbir in a closing moment from the movie.

Dhoni Prepares for IPL 2025

As excitement builds for the upcoming cricket season, Dhoni is gearing up for his 18th season in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has already started training at the CSK camp, taking a proactive approach ahead of his teammates. In addition to his training, Dhoni recently joined the celebrations for Rishabh Pant’s sister’s wedding.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will look to secure their sixth IPL title, with their season opener against the Mumbai Indians scheduled for March 23 in Chennai. Fans are looking forward to seeing Dhoni and his team take the field once again.
