Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently serving time in Tihar Jail, made headlines recently for sending a unique Christmas gift to actress Jacqueline Fernandez—a 107-year-old vineyard in southern France. Along with the extravagant gift, Sukesh sent a handwritten letter dated December 25 that quickly spread across social media.
In his letter, Sukesh affectionately referred to Jacqueline as “baby girl.” He began by wishing her a Merry Christmas and expressed his sadness over their separation during the holiday season. He wrote, “Being away from you does not stop me from playing your Santa Claus. I have a very special present for you this year, my love.”
He then revealed the lavish gift, stating, “Today, I am gifting you not a bottle of wine but an entire vineyard in the country of love, France, which you never even dreamed of.” Sukesh expressed his eagerness to explore the vineyard together with Jacqueline in the future, declaring, “I am desperate to take a walk in this garden holding your hand. The world may think that I am crazy, but I am really crazy in love with you.”
The letter has ignited a mixed reaction online. While some social media users find Sukesh’s gestures odd, others are worried about his obsessive declarations. Jacqueline, on her part, has chosen not to respond to Sukesh’s letters or gifts. She has previously labeled herself a “victim” of his alleged fraudulent schemes, claiming he deceived her by pretending to be a legitimate businessman.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been in the spotlight since his arrest in 2015 for a multi-crore extortion case. During investigations by the Enforcement Directorate, Jacqueline’s name surfaced due to leaked photographs and Sukesh’s claims of their relationship. Jacqueline has consistently maintained that she was misled and manipulated.
