BJP Leader Highlights India’s Progress Inspired by Swami Vivekananda
On Thursday, Nitin Nabin, the national working president of the BJP, emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is achieving remarkable success across various sectors. He made these remarks after attending a prayer ceremony at the Ramakrishna Mandir in Paharganj, celebrating Kalpataru Diwas.
During his visit, Nabin noted that the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and his guru, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, continue to inspire India on its journey towards progress and self-reliance. He also took the opportunity to meet with monks at the temple and received blessings from Swami Sarvalokananda Maharaj, the secretary of the Delhi Ramakrishna Mission.
Nabin stated that the vision for a developed India is anchored in the values of service, unity, and self-confidence promoted by Swami Vivekananda. “By embracing his teachings, India is creating new success stories under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance,” he remarked.
Referencing the Prime Minister’s earlier address from the Red Fort, Nabin highlighted five key resolutions: the goal of a developed India, freedom from a colonial mindset, pride in our heritage, unity and solidarity, and the importance of citizen responsibilities. He believes these principles embody Vivekananda’s philosophy and are crucial for India’s development journey.
Calling on citizens to contribute to nation-building efforts, Nabin stressed that collective action is essential to realize the vision of a strong, self-reliant, and prosperous India. He underscored that the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramhansa are particularly vital for inspiring the youth, especially those from regions like Bihar and Bengal.
