India and Australia Team Up for Creative Tech Education

Panaji: India and Australia are set to join forces in the fields of creative and applied technologies. This collaboration comes after the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Deakin University of Australia at the WAVES Film Bazaar during the ongoing IFFI event.

The MoU was established under the Australia–India creative collaboration initiative, in partnership with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).

Vishwas Deoskar, CEO of IICT, expressed enthusiasm about the agreement. He noted, “This partnership strengthens our commitment to cultivate global talent and explore new horizons in immersive and interactive media education.”

The agreement aims to foster collaboration on a variety of academic programs, training sessions, and research projects focused on creative and applied technologies. This will include workshops, masterclasses, and efforts to promote faculty and student exchanges, ensuring that both institutions work together with industry to make a tangible impact.

This partnership promises to advance innovation and excellence in education, benefiting both students and educators in the ever-evolving landscape of creative technology.
