Family Appeals for Airlift of 23-Year-Old Indian Student in Critical Condition

Kota: The family of a 23-year-old Indian medical student, Rahul Ghosliya, is urgently seeking assistance from the Indian government. Rahul, who is studying MBBS in Kazakhstan, is in critical condition after suffering a brain hemorrhage last week.

According to Charmesh Sharma, a supporter of the family, a request has been made to senior government officials to help transfer Rahul from a local hospital in Karaganda to AIIMS Delhi for better medical treatment.

Rahul, originally from Shahapura in Jaipur district, was hospitalized after the incident. He is currently on a ventilator, and his condition remains serious. Sharma, who has previously helped stranded Indians abroad, highlighted the urgency of the situation on Tuesday.

Rahul’s family is facing difficulties, as his father, a retired army man Banshidhar Ghosliya, and his seven sisters are unable to travel to Kazakhstan to support him during this challenging time.

In light of these circumstances, Sharma has filed an online appeal directed to the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister, urging them to act on humanitarian grounds and facilitate Rahul’s airlift for more advanced medical care in India.
