Maddock Films has just revealed the first look posters for their upcoming horror comedy, Thama, sparking excitement for its release during Diwali. This film features Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in their first leading roles together, along with notable performances from Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal.

The promotional posters highlight each character’s unique traits. Ayushmann Khurrana is shown in a deep and serious look as Alok, dubbed “Insaaniyat ki aakhri Umeed,” or “the last hope for humanity.” Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Tadaka, is introduced as “Roshni ki ek hi paheli kiran,” symbolizing a singular ray of hope in the story.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui presents a quirky character named Yakshasan, labeled “Andhere ka badshah,” or “the king of darkness,” adding an air of mystery. Paresh Rawal, who appears quite ordinary, captures attention as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal with the tagline “Jo Hamesha Comedy Mein Tragedy Dhoondhte Hain,” hinting at his role where comedy meets drama.

To keep fans eager, Maddock Films announced the release of The World of Thama online on August 19. This will give audiences an insider look at the Maddock Supernatural Universe. The posters tease, “This Diwali, the universe gives us a bloody love story in cinemas worldwide,” promising a mix of horror, comedy, and romance.

Thama is part of Maddock’s growing collection of supernatural films, featuring stars like Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Sharvari, and Rajkummar Rao. While specific plot details are still a mystery, early reports suggest the film will involve vampires, offering a fresh take on the horror genre.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thama has piqued the interest of audiences with its intriguing character reveals and the promise of a thrilling Diwali experience filled with humor and excitement.
