Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation Introduces $3 Million Grant Program for Local Organizations
The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation has announced its 2025 Grants Program, offering a total of $3 million to support local groups that promote nutrition education and wellness. This initiative targets communities served by Sprouts Farmers Market and aims to improve the health of both children and adults. Over 500 local nonprofits are expected to receive grants, with each organization eligible for up to $10,000.
Jack Sinclair, the CEO of Sprouts Farmers Market, emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing people’s lives through better eating and living. “We are proud to back the amazing efforts of local nonprofits that align with our mission,” he stated. “These grants enable us to contribute to the well-being of the communities where our customers and staff reside.”
The foundation focuses on enhancing health by supporting initiatives in nutrition education and wellness. The grant money will be divided across three key areas:
- Sprouting School Gardens: Funds for school gardening programs that offer students hands-on experiences in nutrition education.
- Growing Healthy Kids: Support for community programs that address children’s nutrition access and health education.
- Wellness Across the Lifespan: Funding for initiatives aimed at promoting health and wellness in adults.
Through this program, the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation aims to make a meaningful impact on local communities and foster healthier lifestyles.
